Our Vision and Mission

The concept and philosophy of the Academy is anchored on its name ‘Doyen’. The word ‘Doyen’ means “the most respected, prominent, cherished or experienced member of a group or profession” Doyen Academy is dedicated to meeting the needs of young people who are committed to developing their future through an international education. Our outstanding A-level (Cambridge International Examination) programme ensures that our students have the credentials and skills they need to succeed at prestigious universities. We strive to instill a genuine enthusiasm for learning and an intellectual curiosity that will last a life time. The institution wants to produce Doyen of Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacy, Law, Science, Arts, etc. Again, the founder, Professor J. O. Ademiluyi is a man of foresight, a hardworking, diligent and painstaking man, who believes in excellence and the best in any human endeavour. He believes in the impossibility becoming possible. His vision and desire is that every student of Doyen Academy should strive for excellence. And that explains the philosophy of the Doyen Academy with the motto of “Faith, Discipline and Excellence”. This motto is what every youth needs today. Our mission also includes aiding students get university admission at the earliest possible time after high school. To achieve this, secondary school graduates enroll in July immediately after the WASSCE/NECO. This time is strategic to give room to remedy some relevant subjects lacking in the result of the WASSCE/NECO within a year.
